On September 1, 2022, Atoman and the internationally renowned GaN epitaxial company, IVWorks, officially signed a joint technology development agreement of large-scale Hybrid-MBE system. Atoman and the partners will carry out MBE equipment design, R&D, manufacturing and verification around GaN, and will optimize the epitaxial production process by combining the partner's existing AI technology. Atoman is dedicated to enhancing the industrial value of MBE system in power electronics, radio frequency, optoelectronics and other fields.

IVWorks is a GaN epitaxial enterprise founded in 2011 and the first wafer fab in Korea to produce 8-inch GaN-on-Si epitaxial wafers and 6-inch GaN-on-SiC epitaxial wafers. IVWorks has obtained nearly 100 patents in the field of epitaxy in Korea, the United States and Taiwan.
