Atoman Xiamen Epitaxy Factory successfully held its grand opening ceremony on May 13th at the Minsheng High-tech Industrial Park in Jimei District. This milestone event signifies the addition of a strong new force to the compound semiconductor industry.

The opening ceremony gathered leaders from various units such as Hu Xubin, Secretary of the Jimei District Committee, Li Xiaoyan, Deputy Director of the Xiamen Municipal Development and Reform Commission, Zeng Shengjun, Deputy District Mayor of Jimei District, Zeng Tingyi, Chairman of CCRE Group, Jimei District Industry and Information Technology Bureau, Jimei Development Group, demonstrating their high regard and support for the Atoman Xiamen Epitaxy Factory. The presence of these leaders not only injected endless motivation into the factory but also unprecedented encouragement and inspiration to all employees. With the care of these leaders, it is believed that Atoman will live up to expectations and make outstanding contributions to the regional economy, writing a brilliant chapter in the compound semiconductor industry.

As a comprehensive service provider based on MBE technology, Atoman Semiconductor has established or planned technologically advanced epitaxial production bases and R&D centers in Beijing, Xiamen, Zhuji, and Turku (Finland). The Xiamen factory plans to introduce 6 sets of 4×6" large-scale production MBE systems (model 1200) and 8 sets of world-leading 3×8" GaN Hybrid-MBE systems (model 1400). These cutting-edge systems will establish a strong GaAs, InP, and GaN production line. After years of development, Atoman Semiconductor has accumulated a wealth of industrial customers and established close cooperation with many universities and research institutes. As the builder of the MBE ecosystem, Atoman has gathered outstanding talents in the MBE field, forming a strong R&D team with graduate doctors from numerous top semiconductor scientists and well-known research institutions at home and abroad, providing strong support for the high-quality and rapid development of fields such as optical communication, microwave radio frequency, and power electronics.
